A STUDENT's PRAYER

Almighty God, Dear Heavenly Father,
Help me as a student to endure the pains and
sufferings
Of my daily struggles, continuous pressures and
constant temptations.
Help me to remember, Christ Jesus,
That You are the true Teacher, Director,
Administrator, Dean, Coach and President of
my life.
Guide me in my studies and all my life affairs.
Help me to establish a firm foundation in the days
of my youth,
So that I may better serve you.
Give me the courage to face my peers,
And the concentration to concentrate on my
studies.
Be the Advisor of my life, so that I may never go
astray.
Oh Mighty God, Dear Heavenly Father,
Help me to endure and pass the tests of not only
my life,
But also my academic studies.
And as I go through both the schools of life and of
time,
Allow Your life to show and manifest itself
through and in me,
So that others may see Your glory and power.
Help me to study to show myself approved unto
Thee, Dear Heavenly King,
So that I may always be ready for the pop
quizzes of life,
And of academics.
And when the days seem long and loads seem
heavy,
When everything seems like it's just too much for
me to handle and bear,
Comfort me oh Mighty God,
Allow Your Spirit to remind me that You are
always there.
Strengthen me Lord God to accept Your will,
And to remember that it is You who are perfect
and not I.
Help me to be and remain organized, clean, neat
and calm.
Help me to remember that You are in control of all
things,
No matter what may occur in my life.
Lord God, Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank You for putting me where I am.
I pray that You give me patience to help others,
Love, compassion and mercy for all those who are
against me,
And knowledge, wisdom and the right mind and
spirit to deal with it all.
Amen.
